Diagnosing flow – how do you find it? Part 1
Written by Stuart Haden on December 7, 2016
We all find flow in different ways. Uniquely entering into a flow state, what works for one might not work for another. To help navigate these waters the Flow Genome Project have developed a very short diagnostic so that you can recognize what will work best for you. Of course 1 of the 4 approaches will dominate, but remember we are a combination of all 4. Putting our bodies on the line one minute, deeply engrossed in conversation in the next. Stretching our spirit, returning to our thoughts.
Maybe you are a Hard Charger, needing speed of thought and body. The classic adrenaline junkie. Or perhaps your hands need to be in the air, a Crowd Pleaser. Feeding off the audience, tapping into the energy of those around you.
A Flow Goer, finding spirit in spiritual pursuits. A sense of calm and serenity, meaning and purpose. And finally the Deep Thinker, driven by the question. Philosophical and searching. Making sense, sense making.
